Our Services

Professor Doctor Emin MD, an expert in urology diagnosis and treatment, provides the following services in Istanbul.

Penile Prosthesis Surgery

“Penile prosthesis” is a cylindrical structure made of a special material placed on the penis and has the same size as the length of the erect penis in cases where there is no improvement in men with erectile dysfunction (impotence, impotence, erection problem) with drug therapy, vacuum therapy and penile injection treatments and other treatment methods. Since the inflatable prostheses are deflated after intercourse, no symptoms or swelling of the erect penis are seen from the outside in the daily lives of the patients, that is, it is not noticed or understood from the outside.

Bladder Cancer Surgery

Bladder cancer (tumor) is a malignant disease of the urinary bladder. Treatment of bladder cancer depends on the stage of the disease. Bladder cancer surgery depends on the stage of the disease. If the disease is at an early stage and has not spread to the bladder muscle, only endoscopic resection of the tumor (TUR-T) and administration of chemotherapy drugs into the bladder according to the pathology result is sufficient. In the advanced stage, larger surgery is required. These are radical cystectomy and surgeries such as ileal loop or ileal bladder (artificial bladder). In this article, I will give general information about bladder cancer surgery with our own experiences and literature.

Laparoscopic Kidney Surgery

Kidney surgeries were mostly performed in the form of open surgery in previous years. Thanks to the advances in the field of medical devices, most of the surgeries are performed by closed method. Renal surgeries performed with this closed method are generally called “laparoscopic surgery” or “minimally invasive surgery”. In the last 20 years, significant progress has been made in the field of laparoscopic surgery in the field of urology. In the last 20 years, we have been performing almost all of the kidney surgeries with laparoscopic, that is, closed methods.

Urinary Tract and Kidney Stone Surgery

Urinary tract stones (urinary tract stones) are one of the most common urological diseases in our country. Stones in the kidney, renal pelvis, ureter, bladder and urethra are generally known as urinary tract stones. It is a benign (non-cancerous) disease of the urinary system. It occurs in both men and women. It is mostly seen in men. Urinary system stones are seen in the bladder, ureter, renal pelvis, kidney and very rarely in the urethra.

Prostate Cancer Surgery: Radical Prostatectomy

Prostate cancer is a malignant disease of the prostate seen in advanced ages. It is the most common cancer in men among urological cancers. It is a familial disease. It is more common in western societies. In our country, its incidence has increased in older men. It is a disease that can be treated with surgery at a very high rate when diagnosed in the early stages.

Kidney Cancer Surgery

Kidney cancer (kidney tumor) is a malignant disease of the kidney that often occurs in adults. Renal cell carcinoma (RCC) is also known as renal cell cancer. It is more common in men, and its incidence increases after the age of 50. These are cancers that are resistant to radiotherapy (radiation therapy) and chemotherapy. The most effective treatment is surgery, that is, surgery.

Varicocele Surgery With Microsurgery Method

Varicocele is one of the important diseases that cause infertility in men. The most important feature of this disease is that it can be corrected with surgery. If the problem is on the male side and due to varicocele, the rate of having children is high with an appropriate surgery.

HoLEP Surgery

Benign prostatic hyperplasia (benign prostate hyperplasia, BPH) is one of the most common urological diseases in elderly men. Medication is helpful in the initial phase, but over time, drugs do not help and surgery is required. HoLEP surgery has been widely used in the surgical treatment of BPH in recent years. In this article, I will talk about the HOLEP method.

ESWT - Penile Shock Wave Therapy

ESWT (shock wave therapy) has been used in urology for a long time. This treatment method is a scientific treatment method recommended by the American and European Urology Associations. It has no side effects and complications. It is widely used especially in patients with erectile dysfunction. We have been applying this treatment method to our patients for a long time and our results are quite successful. In this article, I will talk about the use of ESWT in erectile dysfunction and other urological diseases.

Testicular Cancer Surgery

Testicular cancer is a malignant tumor arising from the testicle. It is usually seen unilaterally and on the right, rarely seen in both testicles. It is mostly seen at young ages. In this article, I will give general information about testicular cancer surgery, taking into account my own experiences. Patients diagnosed with testicular cancer should not wait too long for surgery. If the examination, blood tests (tumor markers) and radiological tests show that there is cancer, surgery is performed as soon as possible without waiting too long.
